NEW DELHI, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Animals have been taken care of at a zoo in Guwahati city of India's northeastern state of Assam amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Wednesday, India has recorded a total of 33,316,755 COVID-19 cases and 443,497 deaths with 27,176 new infections.
